FEBRUARY 2024 Monthly Newsletter

It’s been a busy February here at FutureMotiv. As we edge towards spring here in the UK, our team has been working hard to continue shaping the future of mobility and the month has been packed full of interesting news and exciting moments.

Artistic triumph

We’re based in a beautiful location at The American Barns, and we often remind ourselves how lucky we are.

David Ginn, who works with our colleagues at RLE International, presented us with his stunning painting of our office building.

We’re honoured to be the source of his inspiration and we’ll be mounting the painting in our reception area for all to see.

Thank you, David, for your generosity and your incredible talent!

Winter vehicle testing

The FutureMotiv team have been out in Arjeplog, Sweden, taking part in winter vehicle testing with one of our customers.

While they stayed busy with thermal control software development and testing, as well as Colmis Driving training, the team also drank in the beautiful Scandinavian scenery.

The vehicle access revolution

Thanks to design engineers embracing popular technologies, the industry has switched from mechanical keys to fobs with ‘unlock’ buttons, making the driver experience more convenient.

But what does the future hold for vehicle access?

In case you missed it, we explored the history and future of vehicle access on our blog in January. We share why FutureMotiv looks to consider every possibility when designing access systems in a vehicle with one key goal – ensuring vehicles are as secure as possible.

We hope 2024 is continuing to treat you well!
